Strategic Buyer

• Lead a sourcing process for high value-high complexity, multi-year, multi-commodity projects.
• Develop a strategic approach for complex and international procurement initiatives / supplier business: process organization, define specific sourcing techniques, business case definition, stakeholders alignment, negotiation.
• Scan the market to keep abreast of technological and market changes, which can also result in opportunities to reduce TCO and implement best practices.
• Control claim management (escalation instance) in case of quality, logistic, and quantity problems.
• Work in cross-functional and multi-national teams with responsibility for tenders, negotiations, and contract closures in close alignment with internal clients.
• Oversee the performance of current partnerships and ensure that regular business reviews are organized and actively participate in them.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing processes, contracts, and internal procedures and working methods.
