Business Controller

• You play an important role in the monthly closing, the provisioning process, and the analysis and reporting of financial results.
• You guide the business in preparing budgets and ensure critical financial substantiation.
• You coordinate quarterly forecasting and closely monitor the financial performance of the department.
• You support the development of the five-year business plan, contributing to the organization's strategic objectives.
• You perform financial analyses, business cases, and investment analyses to support important decisions.
• You identify deviations and translate them into clear insights and recommendations through variance analyses.
• You optimize financial processes and actively contribute ideas on how to work more efficiently and effectively.
• You support complex and impactful projects from a financial perspective.
• You translate financial data into clear management reports that help stakeholders make the right decisions.
• You are a true financial sparring partner for the business and build lasting relationships with various stakeholders.
• You report to the Finance Business Partner.

What they ask

• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in controlling, audit, or financial/business control.
• You possess strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• You are analytically strong and can translate financial information into concrete business insights.
• You have good knowledge of ERP systems, reporting and budgeting tools, and Excel.
• You are critical, proactive, and dare to constructively challenge the business.
• You are a strong communicator and can clearly explain complex financial matters to various stakeholders.
• You work independently, are results-oriented, and can easily switch between different priorities.
• You have a strong business mindset and think beyond just the numbers.
• You speak and write Dutch, French, and English fluently.
