A defense organization is looking for ICT talent. As an ICT specialist within a specialized unit, you will ensure that colleagues can continue to communicate during exercises and missions. You will work with communication and information systems that evolve with the latest technological developments.
What you do
- Provide mobile ICT solutions, such as computer networks, telephony, satellite, and radio connections.
- Install and operate communication and information systems.
- Support units during exercises and missions at home and abroad.
- Prepare for exercises and maintain communication systems and transport equipment at the barracks.
- Work on developing basic military skills and increasing knowledge of the systems you work with.
- Participate in joint sports activities for physical and mental fitness.
What they ask
- Affinity with ICT.
- Possess a civil driving license B.
- Be able to swim.
- Good command of the Dutch language (speaking and writing).
Profile
- Education level: VMBO Basis, VMBO Kader, VMBO Gemengd, VMBO Theoretisch, MBO 2, MBO 3, MBO 4.
- Age between 17 years and 27 years and 11 months.
- Wearing glasses or contact lenses is not an issue.
Practical
- You will first follow a basic military training at various training locations.
- After your basic training, you will be placed in a unit and start your job-specific training.
- You will work in a Communication and Information Systems (CIS) unit.
- Regular participation in exercises at home and abroad and possible deployment to mission areas.
