Contribute to a secure, efficient, and future-proof digital work environment for thousands of users within a government organization and other public entities.
- This role combines technical expertise with vision and leadership. You provide direction for innovating and further developing the digital collaboration platform and email.
- You help employees to collaborate digitally effectively and securely with each other and with external partners.
- Collaborate with an architect on the digital collaboration and email portfolio.
- Transform the current digital M365 collaboration environment and email into a secure, efficient, and automated solution, based on the principles of Security by Design and Automation First.
- Investigate how the digital collaboration environment can look in the future and shape the path towards it, taking into account government frameworks to become more sovereign and independent.
- Translate complex cloud technology into strategic added value, with security and automation at its core.
- Act as the technical conscience within the Collaboration Solution Center, serving as a bridge between technology and strategy. Advise colleagues, clients, and technical teams. Monitor the roadmap, report to service owners, and advise on client onboarding processes.
What you do
- Act as the technical conscience for Microsoft 365.
- Develop and roll out standards using M365DSC and Azure DevOps.
- Guide complex Exchange migrations.
- Integrate security and compliance into architecture and management processes.
- Coordinate client onboarding and act as Technical Project Leader.
- Find solutions for complex technical challenges through innovation and technical deepening.
- Shape an exit strategy for cloud and collaboration services.
- Seek solutions for service delivery in new collaboration tools outside the Microsoft 365 platform.
What they ask
- Demonstrable higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) work and thinking level (e.g., Informatics or ICT).
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment (setup, management, migrations, adoption) and guiding complex Exchange migrations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of at least two of the following: M365DSC, M365 Purview, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and automation frameworks.
- Affinity with information security, compliance, and digital sovereignty in the public sector. Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (BIO2, NIS, ISO 27001, SOC2, CIS) within a government environment.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written. Strong communication skills towards both technical teams and strategic stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as MS-500, AZ-305, SC-401, or SC-900 are a clear advantage.
