An industrial organization is seeking a Scaffolding Work Preparer for turnarounds. You will be part of the shutdown organization, responsible for the preparation, coordination, and evaluation of planned shutdowns at a complex production site. During these shutdowns, maintenance, inspection, and project work are carried out within a strict timeframe, with scaffolding playing a crucial role in the safe execution of the activities.
In this role, you will have ultimate responsibility for all scaffolding work during shutdowns and will manage the entire process.
What you do
- Serve as the central point of contact for all scaffolding within shutdowns.
- Coordinate all scaffolding work within planned shutdowns, from preparation and budgeting to execution, dismantling, and cost finalization.
- Inventory scaffolding needs, establish scope, planning, and cost estimates, and manage external scaffolding contractors.
- Monitor safety, quality, progress, and costs during the execution of shutdowns.
- Organize work permits, safety documentation, and logistical support for scaffolding activities.
- Daily alignment with work preparers, planners, production, projects, and contractors.
- Optimize scaffolding solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Control and approve contractor performance, call-offs, and invoicing.
- Report to the Shutdown Manager and contribute to evaluations and improvement processes for future shutdowns.
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience with scaffolding construction within an industrial environment.
- Experience with turnarounds, shutdowns, or large-scale maintenance outages.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and practical knowledge of English.
- Professional Bachelor in Electromechanics or equivalent by experience.
