As a practice assistant, you are the connecting link that quickly, personally, and professionally guides patients out of crisis and then supports them on the path to a stable and confident life. Your interventions are aimed at strengthening the patient's own capabilities.

What you will do.

• Conduct independent consultations where patients can receive quick, caring attention and identify the underlying need for help.
• Combine medical knowledge with mental health care, so that each complaint is thoroughly assessed in a series of conversations and a sustainable plan is developed.
• Build a bridge from temporary interventions to lasting stability, including relapse prevention, self-help, and aftercare.
• Maintain close contacts with fellow general practitioners, psychologists, healthcare providers, and the social domain.
• Participate in intervision, professional development, and collegial consultations through the Primary Healthcare Company (EGB).
• Build a strong 'social map' around your practice, ensuring each patient receives the right care at the right time.
