The role of the location manager is important within a childcare organization. You will work at a location that offers childcare and out-of-school care for children aged 0 to 13 years. You will do this together with a team of approximately 25 colleagues.
What you will do.
- Daily management of the location and the team.
- Intensive collaboration with colleagues on site and overseeing daily operations, focused on collective entrepreneurship and growth.
- Ensure that pedagogical professionals can optimally perform their important role.
- Center the team, paying attention to their knowledge, talent, and development.
- Motivate, coach, guide, and instruct professionals according to the pedagogical policy.
- In consultation, draw up the annual plan for the location and closely monitor its implementation.
- Maintain collaboration between schools, the municipality, and other network partners.
- Be integrally responsible for the finances, quality, and personnel of the location.
- Apply for subsidies and maintain contact with subsidy providers.
- Achieve the best for the children, their parents, and your employees.

- You coordinate and adjust when necessary, maintain an overview, and oversee ongoing projects.
- You identify developments and bottlenecks and proactively respond to them to improve our services.
- You manage the figures and are financially responsible for the locations.
- You think outside the box, have business insight, and can devise new solutions.
- You have knowledge of personnel planning and its coordination.
