Information Management Project Leader

This role is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and completing projects in the field of information management. Additionally, this role coordinates daily work within the information management team, monitors standards, and ensures alignment with internal stakeholders. The goal is to improve the quality, accessibility, and reliability of information, and to realize projects that contribute to digital transformation and efficient information processes within a government organization.

What you do

  • Leading projects within information management, such as embedding new legislation into work processes, optimizing collaboration with the IT department regarding information household, archive digitization, and data quality initiatives.
  • Daily management of the tasks of the information management team (approximately 10 employees), distributing work, and monitoring progress.
  • Aligning with various internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Analyzing and improving information processes, metadata usage, archiving flows, and document management.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, internal guidelines, and audit requirements.
  • Identifying risks in information management and proposing mitigating measures.
  • Reporting on progress, results, risks, and improvement opportunities to management.
  • Managing, controlling, and improving data, metadata, and file information.

What they ask

  • Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Business Administration, Project Management, ICT, or Information Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project leader, change manager, or supervisor within a government organization.

Preferences.

  • Recent knowledge and experience in working with Djuma, Corsa, or another information management system.
  • Recent relevant knowledge and experience with laws and regulations in the field of archive legislation and GDPR.
  • Experience with data management, information management, case-oriented work, or digital file creation.
  • Experience as a project leader.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations: GDPR, archive legislation.
  • Experience with coordinating or managing a team.
  • Affinity with digitization, data quality, information architecture, and process improvement.
  • Experience within a government organization.
