The assignment focuses on independently performing tasks within the Civil Affairs domain, with an emphasis on complex and specialized processes. The employee will primarily be deployed for administrative tasks but may also perform counter services.
What you do
- Assess and process source documents
- Create personal records
- Perform complex corrections and updates within the BRP (Personal Records Database)
- Conduct quality controls
- Improve work processes and procedures
- Review dossiers
- Identify findings
- Propose improvements to work processes
- Perform counter services for appointments such as: First registration in the Netherlands, Naturalization and option, Recognition of an unborn child

- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years in the role of Civil Affairs Officer
- Demonstrable work experience with complex Civil Affairs processes, including the application of private international law and nationality law
- Demonstrable work experience with assessing and processing source documents
- Demonstrable work experience with quality assurance within the BRP
- The candidate will use their own IT resources (laptop, phone, and associated accessories) for the execution of the assignment
Preferences.
- Demonstrable knowledge of self-evaluation and maturity questions
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with the iBurgerzaken application
- Demonstrable work experience with creating personal records and complex corrections and updates within the BRP
