You will join a team of seven people within the cafeteria of an educational institution. You will report to the cafeteria manager and work closely with your colleagues.
What you do
- Prepare items in the cafeteria, such as setting up components for sandwiches and making coffee.
- Prepare sandwiches and provide customer-friendly service.
- Welcome customers at the counter, take orders, and register them in the cash register.
- Set up and replenish various materials, such as trays, plates, cutlery, and glasses.
- Clean and maintain the customer area of the cafeteria.
- Periodically clean and maintain kitchen and cafeteria installations (extractor hoods, cold rooms) and production areas.
- Close the service counter and clean the coffee machines.
Profile
- Lower secondary education diploma or equivalent by experience.
- Preferably several years of experience in a similar environment, with knowledge of hygiene.
- Fluent communication in Dutch, with the ability to adapt your message to different audiences.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Tidy appearance and very good personal hygiene.
- Customer-friendliness, punctuality, and flexibility are essential.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle busy periods.
- Meet the conditions for obtaining a valid permit for an educational institution and the residence conditions.
