The liaison function is part of a cluster within a healthcare network.
- As a psychologist within the pediatric liaison team, you bridge the gap between physical and mental healthcare, together with the psychiatric nurse, child and adolescent psychiatrist, pediatricians, and the nursing ward team, supporting both patients and their context.
What you do
- Assess whether the liaison admission offer aligns with the request for help from the referrer, the child or adolescent, and their context.
- In consultation, determine the objectives of the liaison admission in alignment with the referrer, the child/adolescent, and their context.
- Be responsible for imaging the patient and their context, with attention to protective and risk factors.
- Based on imaging, formulate advice regarding appropriate follow-up care.
- Be responsible for meticulous file management and quality reporting.
Profile
- Master's degree in psychology.
- Clinical psychology visa and recognized by the psychologists' commission.
- Therapy training is highly recommended.
- Extensive experience in mental healthcare working with children and adolescents is required.
- Knowledge of the social map of assistance for children and adolescents.
- Able to easily connect with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- A smooth team player who can also work autonomously.
- Comfortable in advisory, consultation, and training contexts.
- Strong in planning, organization, and meticulous administration.
Practical
- Employment required on Monday mornings, Wednesday mornings, and Friday mornings.
- Available for online consultation with a child and adolescent psychiatrist on Wednesdays from 1 PM to 1:30 PM.
