Aviation Technology Instructor Cougar

Your role as Senior Aviation Technology Instructor (B1-3/B2) at a defense organization.

• Responsible for developing and providing training for the personnel of a helicopter command.
• You ensure that technicians' knowledge and skills continuously remain at the correct level, so they can operate safely and effectively.
• You combine technical expertise with didactic skills.
• You develop training courses based on current operational and technical developments and translate these into concrete learning objectives, teaching materials, and exams.
• Additionally, you provide both theoretical and practical lessons, guide trainees, and assess their progress.
• Within the specialist group, you play an important role in coaching fellow instructors and supporting junior instructors.
• You work closely with various stakeholders and ensure clear communication and coordination.
• In this role, you actively contribute to the quality, safety, and continuous development of the training organization.
• You work with modern aviation systems and continuously stay ahead in technical developments.
• You build a strong network within a military and (inter)national environment and make a visible contribution to safety and operational readiness.

What they ask

• You have a completed Mbo level 3/4 education in a technical field (e.g., aviation technology, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering).
• You are preferably in possession of an Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical education or training environment (military or civil).
• You have practical knowledge of aircraft and/or helicopters.
• You are familiar with relevant regulations (ICAO, EASA, EMAR, or NLD-MAR-66/147).
• You have strong communication skills, are accurate, and flexible.
• You are willing to develop didactic skills internally.
