An experienced C#/. NET Developer is sought for a client to contribute to the further development, optimization, and scalability of a growing software product. You will be part of the development team and work closely with fellow developers and the product team. You will translate functional analyses into robust technical solutions and be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of backend applications.
The focus is on quality and high-performing software, with reliability and scalability at its core. You will also play an important role in realizing API integrations with external systems and processing data in various formats, including XML. There is room to actively contribute to technical choices and the evolution of the product.
What you do
- Develop, maintain, and extend applications and backend functionalities with C# and the.NET platform.
- Translate functional analyses and business requirements into a technical design and quality, maintainable code.
- Develop and maintain web applications based on ASP.NET MVC.
- Design, implement, and maintain API integrations, with attention to reliability, security, and performance.
- Work with XML for data exchange, including parsing, validating, transforming, and processing XML messages.
- Analyze and optimize SQL databases, queries, and data models to ensure performance and data integrity.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression tests to monitor the quality and stability of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and apply best practices in software development, readability, and maintainability.
- Analyze and resolve technical problems, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with the product team and other stakeholders to translate functional needs into efficient technical solutions.
- Actively contribute to technical improvements, architectural choices, and the further scalability of the platform.
- Stay informed about relevant evolutions within the.NET ecosystem and translate them into concrete improvements where they add value.

- Strong knowledge of C#.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
- Thorough knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with developing or integrating APIs.
- Understands data exchange via XML and can process and validate XML structures.
- Eye for code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Familiar with debugging, testing, and code reviews.
- Can analyze functional requirements and independently translate them into technical solutions.
- Takes responsibility, works proactively, and is solution-oriented.
- Communicates smoothly with colleagues and stakeholders and feels comfortable in a constantly evolving environment.
