For a technical organization, an experienced buyer is sought to manage complex purchasing files from A to Z. You will strengthen the purchasing team and take on broad responsibility for diverse and challenging purchasing files in a professional environment where autonomy, expertise, and initiative are valued.
What you do
- Analyzes purchasing needs and aligns them with internal departments.
- Prepares purchasing files and conducts market research within various spending categories.
- Drafts specifications and order documents, and coordinates technical input from the business.
- Guides public procurement procedures and ensures the correct application of legislation and procedures.
- Analyzes and compares offers, and prepares award reports and approval notes.
- Negotiates with bidders and maintains professional contacts with suppliers and contractors.
- Monitors ongoing contracts and conducts supplier and contractor evaluations.
- Provides substantive support to internal departments for purchasing-related files.
- Analyzes expenditures and formulations proposals to further optimize purchasing processes.
What they ask
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing.
- Thorough knowledge of public procurement legislation.
- Experience with mini-competitions, qualification systems, and cascade.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, procurement policy, and negotiation techniques.
- Accustomed to independently managing complex purchasing files and bringing together various stakeholders.
- Works analytically, accurately, and solution-oriented.
- Communicates professionally with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Knowledge of ERP, BI, SharePoint, or similar business systems is a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written Dutch.
- Professional bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent by experience.
