Facility Coordinator

As a Facility Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring the maintenance and planning of technical matters related to the company buildings, materials, or inventory of the warehouses of a logistics service provider. You monitor the use and status of facility resources and maintain contact with suppliers and contractors. You resolve problems in consultation with your supervisor. You are part of a regional Facility Team and report to the Facility Officer on campus.

You will work both in the office and in the warehouse.

What you will do.

• Administrative tasks and presence on the floor to receive and guide suppliers.
• Performing minor maintenance if necessary.
• Monitoring agreements with suppliers and reporting inaccuracies.
• Maintaining specific facility systems.
• Registering and reporting on the progress of work and incurred costs.
• Entering purchase orders into the purchasing system (e.g., office supplies, packaging, workwear).
• Drawing up, maintaining, and monitoring facility procedures according to established guidelines.
• Managing maintenance operators and creating the daily schedule.
• Participating in site-related meetings and gatherings.
• Participating in facility breakdown services.
• Potentially handling minor maintenance/breakdowns on the floor.

What they ask

• Completed technical education and/or basic facility management MBO education.
• Preferably a VCA & BHV diploma.
• Experience with facility and logistics is a plus.
• Independent and dares to make decisions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and automated information systems.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
