The assignment takes place within an infrastructure project office. The expert team works with two IPM teams on complex infrastructural explorations and (new construction) projects. Various projects are in preparation, with a focus on the construction of a specific ring road which is currently in the tendering phase, followed by execution. Deployment on other projects, such as a bus rapid transit system or traffic safety optimization, is also possible; these are still in the preparatory phase.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team of advisors, technical specialists, and designers. You will ensure coherence between the various disciplines and monitor the quality and progress of the work. From your technical expertise, you will carefully weigh the diverse interests of stakeholders and jointly seek supported solutions that contribute to organizational objectives.
Within the framework of the organization, you will initiate a structured approach that enables the team to effectively arrive at well-founded technical choices. Using a quality management system as a guideline, you will monitor progress per project phase and ensure product quality. Maintaining an overview and manageability of the entire package of tasks and responsibilities is an important part of your role. As an IPM role holder, you can direct a group of people towards collaboration and achieving goals.
As a technical manager, you bear the responsibility for the technical team and the preparation of technical products. The general approach is that capacity is partially hired to prepare products under the direction of the technical manager. In addition, the technical manager will also be partly responsible for preparing and delivering products themselves. It is expected that you can think strategically as well as operationally execute technical issues.

Profile
You will regularly coordinate with other IPM role holders. You will primarily work on the construction of a specific ring road. Deployment on other projects, such as a bus rapid transit system or traffic safety optimization, is also possible. Tuesdays and Thursdays are project team days where presence at the office location is necessary. The remaining time can be flexibly arranged, working at the office, on the project site, or elsewhere.

- Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience in various phases of infrastructural works, from exploration to execution, to be demonstrated with a reference project no older than 7 years
- Demonstrable work experience with UAV-gc and UAV contracts
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 15 years with the project organization of a road authority (e.g., a government organization)
- Demonstrable work experience as a technical manager in large infrastructural new construction projects, including the realization of civil engineering structures and road constructions
