This position is within an Ambulatory Family Treatment (AFT) team, part of a specialized center for children and adolescents with complex psychiatric issues. This center provides secondary and tertiary care in various municipalities and has multiple locations. It focuses on quickly accessible specialized diagnostics and treatment for optimal recovery and participation.
Treatment, both clinical and ambulatory, includes neurobiological developmental disorders, trauma and attachment, personality disorders, infant mental health, and mild intellectual disability in combination with psychiatric problems. The goal is research and treatment for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 (up to 23 for mild intellectual disability) with psychosocial or psychiatric disorders.
What you will do.
- You will work on the treatment of children and adolescents within the framework of the individual treatment plan.
- You will have direct contact with clients and their home network and collaborate with other disciplines and care partners.
- You will work with effective methodologies such as Intensive Ambulatory Family Treatment (IAFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and systemic work.
- You will specifically observe the behavior of children and adolescents and how they interact with their environment to break established patterns.
- You will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans and team policy through various consultation forms.
Profile
- Completed HBO-SPH, HBO-V, or HBO Social Work degree, possibly supplemented with further courses in child and adolescent psychiatry; systemic-oriented training and/or IAFT.
- Work experience with this complex target group and ambulatory work within child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Experience with independent systemic work.
- Trained in or willing to follow IAFT training.
- BIG or SKJ registered.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team under the direction of a GZ psychologist or psychiatrist.
- Capable of working demand-driven, methodically, and results-oriented.
- An energetic, proactive, and strong personality who is flexible, decisive, and structured.
