CAD Designer Civil Engineering

• You design plans and 3D models and work entirely within BIM principles.
• You support the Design Engineer in the study and design of civil engineering structures in the various project phases (from feasibility study to detailed design and as-built).
• You prepare plans and 3D models: structures, reinforcements, hydraulics, geotechnics, and piece plans for tenders of civil engineering structures such as bridges, viaducts, railway underpasses, support structures, tunnels, and technical buildings.
• You are responsible for the integration of your designs into the environment and with other disciplines such as tracks, overhead lines, and signaling.
• You work within the framework of BIM principles (Building Information Model).
• You analyze and help find solutions to problems during plan design.
• You check third-party plans (3D models, formwork and reinforcement plans, workshop plans, etc.).
• You prepare quantities for the bills of quantities that are part of the specifications for tenders.
• You utilize AI support in drawing and design work for quality and standardization.

What they ask

• You have approximately 3 years of relevant experience as a CAD Designer / civil engineering draftsman.
• You have the necessary experience in creating 2D plans and 3D models of concrete and steel structures and reinforcements.
• You are familiar with CAD software (AutoCAD) and 3D/BIM modeling tools (e.g., Tekla Structures, Revit).
• Knowledge of bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and support structures is a plus.
• You have experience in preparing bills of quantities and quantities.
• You work structured within a BIM environment and according to applicable standards.
• You are bilingual Dutch / French.
• You have an affinity with railway infrastructure (integration with tracks, overhead lines, signaling).
