As a Team Manager, you lead two experienced teams within WMO (Social Support Act) and Protected Living at a care organization focused on youth and young adult care. You work in a dynamic, metropolitan environment with a diverse target group and complex issues. Your leadership makes a direct difference for the professionals and the young people they guide.
You lead:
- A team for WMO: approximately 17 FTE, primarily with HBO-educated counselors.
- A team for Protected Living: approximately 4 FTE, with pedagogical staff and social counselors.
Both teams are professional and experienced. The positive development that has already been initiated requires further guidance, as well as trust and space for the team. You work closely with behavioral scientists. Together, you shape the dual management: you are responsible for business operations and personnel, the behavioral scientist for the content of care.

As a Team Manager, you are responsible for the functioning and results of both teams. You:
- provide situational and motivating leadership
- develop and build strong, professional teams
- create a safe and pleasant working environment
- manage personnel, financial, and care-related results
- create an annual plan with your teams and monitor its realization
- pay attention to vitality and sustainable employability
- guide employees and stimulate ownership and professional development
- work closely with behavioral scientists
- improve work processes and implement developments within the teams
- are the point of contact for HR, ICT, communication, and facility matters

- HBO+ working and thinking level
- a minimum of five years of relevant work experience
- demonstrable experience with leadership and team management
- experience with building and developing teams
- financial and and business knowledge
- knowledge of management techniques and leadership skills
- preferably, knowledge of WMO, social shelter, and/or youth care
- experience or affinity with vitality and sustainable employability

- Salary in accordance with the Youth Care Collective Labor Agreement (scale 11).
