This interim assignment is with a public transport organization that keeps a major city moving daily. You will work at the intersection of finance, strategy, investments, and asset management. You will be a strong discussion partner for management, advising on financial issues, investments, and business cases.
What you will do.
- Responsible for the Planning & Control (P&C) cycle
- Monitoring budgets and investments
- Analyzing financial risks and multi-year effects
- Playing an important role in the further professionalization of financial control around assets, CAPEX, and investment projects
- Contributing to the design of processes around assets, investments, and asset management during an ERP transition
- Collaborating closely with MT, managers, project and asset managers, and fellow controllers
- Maintaining contact with local government authorities and external auditors
Profile
- University (WO) level of work and thinking
- More than 12 years of experience in financial analysis and/or (business) control
- Thorough knowledge of financial management, P&C processes, and risk management
- Experience with innovation, investment, and change processes
- Insight into laws and regulations and steering on the deployment of resources
- Strong in judgment, problem analysis
- Takes ownership of results and follows a course based on personal conviction and facts
