Support Worker

• You support clients with living, day activities, social contacts, personal care, and leisure activities.
• You provide structure, clarity, and safety, enabling clients to live as independently as possible.
• You work with diverse care needs and build a trusting relationship with clients, colleagues, and relatives.
• You guide clients with an intellectual disability in their daily lives.
• You stimulate independence and personal development.
• You provide structure, guidance, and support where necessary.
• You identify changes in behavior, well-being, or care needs.
• You collaborate with colleagues, family, and other stakeholders involved with the client.

What they ask

• You are committed, social, and resilient.
• You find it important to do meaningful work and look for possibilities rather than limitations.
• A completed care education at MBO level 3 or 4, such as MMZ, SPW, Verzorgende IG, Nursing, social work, or similar.
• Or a completed HBO education in applied psychology, social work, PABO, or similar.
• Interest in or experience with care for people with disabilities.
• Good communication skills and an open attitude.
• The motivation to support clients with attention, calm, and clarity.
• Experience with intensive guidance or behavioral issues is a plus, but not a requirement.

• A care organization supports people with an intellectual disability.
• The organization believes in living together, working together, and developing together.
• They work with various target groups within disability care, such as LVB, MVB, EVB, and EMB.
• During the introductory meeting, they will assess which target group, living situation, and form of guidance best suit your experience, talents, and wishes.
