That is why we are looking for a Youth Care Worker A who wants to contribute to sustainable recovery and perspective. As a Youth Care Worker A, you will work with families facing complex problems and stuck patterns.
You will work ambulant, from a systemic and orthopedagogical approach. You will bring clarity, structure, and safety, and take the lead in the treatment process. Together with the family and the informal and formal network, you will work towards sustainable change and a safe upbringing for the child or young person.
What you will do.
- You will draw up a multidisciplinary plan of approach together with the family/system and translate this into concrete goals and actions.
- You will be able to lead the implementation of the family plan.
- You will guide and act in crisis situations, including multi-sided partiality, divorce conflicts, or the risk of out-of-home placement.
- You will maintain an up-to-date file, with reports and an ongoing treatment plan.
- You will be able to lead the content of the implementation of the plan within a coercive and/or forced legal framework. You will proactively collaborate with youth protection and other involved assistance.
Profile
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in a relevant field such as Social Work, SPH, or MWD.
- You have a diploma; Post-HBO Intensive Ambulant Family Treatment (IAG). This is required for the position.
- You have extensive experience working as an IAG worker, and can work systemically and methodically based on this experience and knowledge.
- You have relevant experience working within coercive and/or forced frameworks.
- You are flexibly deployable and, when the family situation requires it, available during evenings and/or weekends.
- You have a committed, professional attitude with an eye for child safety, the reporting code, and sustainable change.
- You are team-oriented, make an active contribution to the team, and enjoy collaborating with starting family coaches on casework.
- You are a Christian and can articulate what this means to you.
