Program Manager Information Driven Work
A public organization is looking for an experienced program manager to further develop information-driven work. The assignment starts with mapping the current and desired situation and the necessary steps for realization, building on existing initiatives and expertise.
The program manager develops a vision and growth path for information-driven work, identifies organizational, technical, and financial preconditions, and works towards an executable program, with explicit attention to governance, ownership, privacy, information security, capacity, and structural funding. The first phase of realization is guided to make the added value visible in practice.
What you will do.
- Develop a widely supported vision on information-driven work.
- Conduct a GAP analysis of the current and desired situation.
- Explain how information-driven work contributes to solving bottlenecks and what changes this requires at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
- Develop a program framework with goals, scope, priorities, governance, and roadmap.
- Advise on required capacity, organizational structure, resources, and structural funding.
- Elaborate a high-level approach, including priorities, governance, and an initial development roadmap.
- Prepare an implementation advice with realistic phasing, prioritization, and insight into required capacity, resources, and lead time.
- Identify and elaborate concrete applications that contribute to the primary process.
- Work closely with management, data specialists, advisors, and other involved stakeholders.
- Fulfill a leading, connecting, and advisory role in the development of information-driven work.
What they ask
- Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Demonstrable work experience with information-driven work, data-driven work, business intelligence, or information management.
- Demonstrable work experience with developing strategy, governance, and implementation approaches.
- Demonstrable work experience with organizational change and stakeholder management.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a program manager for information-driven work or similar experience in this direction.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable work experience within a public or socially oriented organization.
- Demonstrable work experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 10 years with setting up and managing programs and/or projects in the field of information provision and/or information management.
