This assignment is with an independent NGO focused on promoting active mobility, particularly cycling, to make its benefits accessible to everyone, especially vulnerable groups. The organization operates globally and tailors its approach to local needs, focusing on 'Human Infrastructure' for lasting change.
What you will do.
- You will be the driving force behind projects in the field of active mobility.
- You will switch between office and field work.
- You will collaborate closely with partners, municipalities, and the program team.
- You will ensure the smooth running of projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and reporting.
- You will identify opportunities for follow-up projects and actively contribute to new proposals.
Profile
- Independent, but also a team player who collaborates smoothly within multidisciplinary teams.
- Can-do mentality: you see obstacles as challenges, not excuses.
- Outgoing, approachable, and not afraid to ask questions.
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in active mobility, sports, social impact, or urban planning.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
- Fluent in Dutch.
- A background in sports and/or a commercial environment is a plus.
- A good network in the relevant region (partners, municipalities, community) is a big plus.
