Outreach worker

You are looking for a challenging position as an outreach worker at a social shelter facility. You have a recovery-oriented approach, can handle various systems well, and are strong in planning and organizing your work.

What you will do.

  • You will guide approximately six participants.
  • You will be responsible for drafting, implementing, and evaluating guidance plans.
  • You will monitor the progress of trajectories and encourage participants in their development towards greater independence.
  • You will support participants in maintaining and strengthening their self-reliance, so they can live as independently as possible and participate in society.
  • Participants face complex issues such as homelessness, psychiatric vulnerability, addiction problems, and care avoidance.
  • Building a relationship of trust forms the basis of your work.
  • You will help participants step by step towards more stability, recovery, and perspective.
  • You will support them with various goals, such as finding or retaining suitable housing, restoring social contacts, addressing debts, and organizing appropriate care and support.
  • You will primarily work during office hours but will be flexible for occasional evening or weekend availability during crisis situations.

Profile

  • You have a completed HBO degree in social work or a related field.
  • You can work independently and plan well.
  • You enjoy writing care plans and can work effectively with various systems.
  • You are a Christian (Catholic, Protestant, etc.) and can articulate what that means to you.
