This is initially a hands-on sales role in a small organization.
- There is an opportunity to take increasing responsibility for the Dutch operations, reach director level authority, and hire a supporting team.
- The organization designs and sells distinctive ribbed acoustic wall coverings, manufactured in the Netherlands with a strong focus on sustainable materials.
- It sells B2B internationally, working with architects, designers, and commercial customers across global markets.
What you do
- You will answer enquiries.
- You will prepare quotations.
- You will send samples.
- You will win orders.
- You will elevate the customer service experience.
- You will develop appropriate structured marketing activities to increase visibility and drive sustainable growth.
- You will develop best practice tools and processes to streamline business administration.
- You will win new customers and increase sales.
- You will be the customer’s voice within the organization.
What they ask
- Understanding good design decisions and caring about the outcomes. Enjoying interiors.
- Experienced in sales, and genuinely motivated by closing deals.
- Fluent Dutch & English, German highly desirable, any other languages advantageous.
- Personable & charismatic, you listen before you respond, then you respond with enthusiasm.
- Organised, reliable and productive; you can manage expectations and are not easily distracted once focused.
- Responsible and resilient, you are self-motivated and pro-active.
- Tech savvy, knowing when to automate a process and where to start.
Practical
- Initially a 12-month employment contract, with the intention to make it permanent.
- A 1-month probation period.
- A company car will be provided after the initial contract.
- 25 days holiday + public holidays.
- Salary range €4,500 - €6,500 gross per month + 8% holiday allowance.
- Bonus incentive (to be defined).
- Occasional domestic and international travel.
