As a Home Care Assistant IG at a healthcare organization, you make a difference for your clients. What you do
- As a Home Care Assistant IG, you visit clients at their homes.
- You provide the care that your client deserves and that suits them.
- You perform actions that belong to your function.
- You work closely with informal caregivers and volunteers, and you build and maintain good contacts with the clients' families.
- You are part of a multidisciplinary team of care assistants, (district) nurses, and various therapists to create the perfect environment for person-centered care.
- You will work within a specialized team and offer care and guidance to clients with cognitive problems, such as dementia.
- You work from a person-centered approach, with an eye for the needs, possibilities, and well-being of each client.
- Together with your colleagues, you ensure a safe, trusted, and pleasant living environment.
- You work closely with various disciplines and contribute to good, appropriate care for our clients.
Profile
It is especially important that one of the following options applies to you:
- You have completed a Home Care Assistant IG training, or you are currently following it.
- You have an (old) care diploma and have been out of care for a while, but would like to get back to work.
