What you do
- Technical leadership with clients: You are the substantive anchor point for challenging projects.
- You determine the technical direction, for example, during transitions from legacy platforms to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Architecture & Quality: You make well-considered choices regarding Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and Clean Architecture, with continuous attention to scalability, security, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Coaching & Mentoring: You guide and inspire software engineers, technically challenge them, and foster a stimulating feedback culture.
- Knowledge Sharing & Innovation: You act as a sounding board for emerging technologies and actively contribute to internal and external knowledge-sharing sessions.
What they ask
- Minimum of 8 years of solid experience in software engineering (.NET / C#), preferably 10 years with demonstrable steps towards software architecture or team leadership.
- In-depth senior knowledge of the modern.NET ecosystem and Azure.
- Proven experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server, and advanced testing strategies (Unit, Integration, TDD).
- Thorough knowledge of messaging architectures.
- Good full-stack vision with an affinity for modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Blazor).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- You naturally build trust through substantive expertise, pragmatic decision-making, and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferences.
- Experience with team dynamic models.
- Passion for public speaking, workshops, or tech blogging.
