A healthcare organization is looking for two application administrators to expand their team. Due to rapid growth and innovations, new challenges arise. The organization uses the Electronic Patient Dossier (EPD) EMMA. The role is challenging and varied, focused on understanding care processes and implementing practical solutions.
What you do
- Manage and further develop the EPD EMMA.
- Support users and key users with questions and problems.
- Translate care-related wishes into practical solutions within the EPD.
- Set up and manage user rights, processes, and functionalities.
- Test new releases and changes.
- Identify improvement opportunities and address them independently.
- Coordinate with the vendor, IT, and colleagues at various locations.
- Regularly visit clinics to stay closely connected to daily practice.
- Responsible for the helpdesk, handling questions and requests from users and superusers.
- Analyze reports, resolve them independently, or escalate them to the vendor when necessary.
- Ensure users feel heard and are kept informed of progress.
- Provide user instructions and training.
Profile
- Minimum completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Experience with an Electronic Patient Dossier (EPD); experience with EMMA is a strong plus.
- Preferably, experience working within a healthcare organization (with an EPD) and understanding of on-the-floor processes.
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and proactive.
- Easily switches between different colleagues and levels within the organization.
- Enjoys traveling regularly to clinics throughout the country.
- Remains calm when priorities change and feels comfortable in an organization that is rapidly developing.
- Works independently, takes initiative, and identifies tasks.
- Affinity with healthcare and ability to help users.
Practical
- Temporary engagement as a freelancer is negotiable. In the long term, the aim is to establish a permanent team of salaried application administrators.
