As a Mechanical Engineering Work Preparer, you ensure flawless project preparation for smooth execution. You maintain an overview, think proactively, and communicate effectively between the project team, suppliers, and execution. You will work on mechanical engineering projects within various sectors such as utilities, healthcare, industry, food, and pharma.
What you will do.
- Prepare mechanical engineering projects
- Coordinate activities with the execution on the project site
- Ensure timely availability of materials and equipment
- Request and evaluate quotes from suppliers
- Establish and monitor project schedules
- Monitor quality, costs
- Identify bottlenecks and respond to them in a timely manner
- Act as a link between project management, execution
What they ask
- MBO-4 or HBO level of thinking and working in a technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a work preparer or within the execution of technical projects
- Knowledge of mechanical installation technology and building-related W-installations
- Affinity with, for example, HVAC, air treatment, climate, heating, cooling, or sanitary installations
- Good organizational and communication skills
- A practical and solution-oriented attitude
