Caregiver IG Night Shift

A care organization creates a new home for residents who can no longer live independently.

• The organization delves into the lives of residents and what makes it meaningful.
• This takes place at multiple locations where residents can age comfortably, with a loving and dedicated team.
• The location offers care to residents with dementia and those with somatic care needs.
• The working environment is small-scale and homely.

What you will do.

• At night, you are a trusted and calm point of contact for residents.
• You get to know the person behind the care need and offer care and attention that suits what someone needs at that moment.
• You ensure a safe and pleasant night and know when to act and when proximity is sufficient.
• You work independently, but always in connection with your colleagues and the team.
• You provide high-quality care, regardless of their care needs or length of stay.
• You involve relatives in the care.
• Contribute to a calm, safe, and hospitable nocturnal living environment.
• Signal changes in the health and well-being of residents.
• Support residents with care questions and promote self-reliance where possible.
• Perform nursing technical actions for which you are authorized as a Caregiver IG.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the multidisciplinary team, with good handover to the day shift.
