Youth Protector Monitoring Team

• Ensure new cases receive the immediate attention they need.
• Do not manage your own caseload, but closely monitor the progress of cases on the monitoring list.
• Maintain an overview, identify risks and bottlenecks early, and take immediate action.
• Bring calm to hectic situations, approach parents and youth with respect, and offer clarity.
• Conduct initial interviews with parents at the office.
• Have face-to-face contact with the youth in their home situation.
• Draw up an action plan based on the council report, supplemented with information from interviews and the opinions of stakeholders.
• Maintain contact with the client to continue discussing the situation.
• Register for assistance if agreed upon, or if there is a court order.
• Intervene in situations to prevent red triage or to prevent assistance from stagnating, such as care consultations, setting up contact, multidisciplinary consultations, drawing up a safety plan.
• Collaborate with a team of dedicated colleagues, a team leader, and behavioral scientists.

• Integrity, stress resistance, a passion for complex casework, variety, and independence.
• A relevant HBO diploma (SPH, MWD, Social Work, Pedagogy).
• An SKJ registration.
• Several years of experience as a youth protector.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and protocols.
• A driving license and access to a car.

• Flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home.
• Mobile phone and laptop.
• Travel allowance, an NS Businesscard (also for private use) or possibly a lease car.
• A one-year contract as an Interim Professional with the possibility of direct employment with the client.
