HR Onboarding Employee

As an HR Onboarding Employee, you ensure that onboarding activities proceed carefully, timely, and smoothly. You support processes with local variations and national rollout, with an emphasis on second-line support. You are the content point of contact, make recommendations, and translate bottlenecks into improvement proposals for the HR Operations Lead.

What you will do.

  • Drafting employment contracts and guiding a correct signing process.
  • Coordinating the entire onboarding process, including outsourced background checks and registration with the immigration service.
  • Answering and resolving onboarding questions, with special attention to country-specific topics, HR policy, and procedures around onboarding and offboarding.
  • Identifying risks, monitoring quality and lead times, and taking appropriate action.
  • Recording and following up on questions and tasks in the HR ticketing system of an HR system.
  • Sharing local onboarding knowledge and supporting a Workplace Solutions Specialist team with individual onboarding and offboarding cases.
  • Developing process optimizations with the onboarding team and making practical recommendations to the HR Operations Lead.

Profile

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain processes and policies to people at different levels within the organization.
  • Experience with HR administration, HR systems such as a well-known HR system and relevant software applications, plus a good command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • The ability to organize multiple tasks, prioritize, and work accurately in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • A customer-oriented, people-oriented, and solution-oriented approach, handling confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of HR policy and procedures or experience with onboarding is a plus.

You will be part of the general onboarding team and work intensively with managers, recruitment, HR, an offshore team, a Workplace Solutions Specialist team, external partners, and future employees. Within this collaboration, you will share local onboarding knowledge, discuss areas for improvement, and contribute to an efficient and reliable onboarding process.
