What you do
The test manager is responsible for planning, preparing, coordinating, and partly executing application tests, and reporting the results to the project manager or product owner.
- Performing Product Risk Analyses and translating them into a test strategy and plan
- Drawing up a master test plan
- Independently preparing test cases and providing adequate input for necessary rework
- Advising on the automation of test cases based on the internal test approach
- Drawing up a detailed test plan, including test scenarios and test cases, in collaboration with functional and application administrators
- Guiding data conversions and performing data conversion analyses
- Coordinating with the business (users and administrators) about their role in the tests
- Coordinating operational progress during various types of tests
- Managing documentation
- Organizing required test capacity (users and administrators)
- Coordinating and standardizing the working method of the test team
- Preparing and chairing test meetings, kick-offs
- Supporting testers in logging findings in Jira
- Managing findings and assigning them to resolution groups
- Preparing and chairing findings meetings
- Collaborating with and reporting on the progress of the test process to the project manager

- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with test management: planning, preparing, and coordinating test processes
- Knowledge and experience with test execution: preparing tests, drawing up and coordinating test scenarios and test scripts
- Experience in leading a test team
- Demonstrable advisory experience in the field of test management
- Demonstrable experience with the TMAP method
- Demonstrable experience with drawing up release advice
- Demonstrable experience with preparing tests, drawing up and coordinating test scenarios and test scripts, based on functional and technical designs, process descriptions, and user stories
- Communication skills

Preferences.
- Experience with testing data conversions and performing data conversion analysis
- Experience with drawing up master test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts, testing existing applications, new applications, new processes, change projects, and/or upgrades, involving multiple business units (more than 500 employees) and more than 50 applications
- Knowledge and experience with Jira and TMAP
- Experience in leading a test team
