An organization in the energy sector is looking for an experienced SAP Test Lead & Test Automation Specialist. This role is responsible for further developing, optimizing, and securing test automation within a complex SAP Finance environment. You will work within a multidisciplinary program focused on Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes.
The role combines in-depth technical knowledge with strong coordinating and advisory skills, with a focus on regression testing, test automation, and continuous improvement. Knowledge transfer and enabling teams to independently perform test automation are important aspects.
What you will do.
- Be responsible for the setup, execution, and further development of test automation within the SAP Finance chain.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated regression tests.
- Adapt regression tests based on system changes and new functionalities.
- Contribute hands-on to test automation for new developments.
- Analyze bugs and test results and translate them into structural improvement proposals.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve findings and improve software quality.
- Develop and improve test strategies, test processes, and automation approaches.
- Optimize test activities within development and infrastructural processes.
- Guide functional consultants, ABAP developers, architects, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in test automation.
- Transfer knowledge and skills so that teams can independently develop and maintain automated tests.
- Stimulate quality awareness and structural improvement within the development teams.
- Monitor the coherence between functional testing, regression testing, and test automation.
Profile
- More than 10 years of experience in software testing.
- More than 5 years of experience with Tricentis Tosca.
- More than 5 years of experience with testing in SAP environments.
- Demonstrable experience as SAP Test Lead, Test Coordinator, and Test Automation Specialist.
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and associated test trajectories.
- Strong technical knowledge of test automation with Tosca, Selenium, Cypress, and Java.
- Experience with developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated regression tests.
- Strong combination of functional testing, test automation, test coordination, and test lead activities.
- Experience with analyzing complex bugs and realizing structural quality improvements.
- Able to involve technical and functional stakeholders in test strategies and automation issues.
- Experience with knowledge transfer and guiding teams in independently performing test automation.
