The partner is a cloud-based SaaS scale-up that helps finance teams transform financial and operational data into actionable reports and dashboards.
- The organization has 50+ employees and clients in 4+ countries.
- The platform serves companies with revenue from €5 million, mainly in Belgium and France, with a growing presence in other markets.
- The role reports directly to the CEO and regularly to the Board of Directors.
What you do
- Determine and drive the financial strategy from A to Z, with real impact on the company's growth strategy.
- Manage the relationship with private equity investors and report regularly to the Board of Directors.
- Take ownership of financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Co-develop a data-driven, digital-first finance function, with AI, automation, and tools such as CPM platforms or Power BI.
- Lead and develop the finance team, with an accountant and a controller, and build a culture of operational excellence.
- Bring a commercial perspective to pricing and growth projects, collaborating with Sales and Product, and ensuring governance and compliance across all entities.
Profile
- Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 5 to 15 years of experience in finance, supplemented with M&A experience.
- SaaS experience is a strong asset.
- Fluent in French, English, and Dutch.
Practical
- Key management position, working closely with the CEO and leadership team.
- Direct exposure to the Board of Directors and private equity investors.
- Shape the financial strategy rather than just executing it.
- Lead a small, dedicated finance team.
