As a social worker within a specialized expertise center, you guide clients who may be dealing with complex issues in multiple areas of life. You build trust, maintain an overview, and are good at assessing what someone needs. Even when situations become complicated, you remain professional and know when to act, coordinate, or escalate. You work independently, but actively seek collaboration and coordination with colleagues and chain partners in complex situations.
What you will do.
- Conducting intake interviews, setting guidance goals, and supervising trajectories
- Signaling risks, concerns, exploitation
- Coordinating care and collaborating with chain partners such as public health services, police, a national coordination center, and the municipality
- Registering and reporting in the client tracking system
- Providing information and training to young people and professionals on various forms of exploitation
- Participating in the registration team and advocating for the interests of (ex-)sex workers and victims of human trafficking
Profile
You are an experienced social worker who is resilient and accustomed to working independently with complex casework. You are reliable, open, and non-judgmental, and you combine professional proximity with setting boundaries. You have an affinity with various target groups, including LHBTIQ+ individuals and people living with HIV. You find it natural to work outreach, advocate for interests, and actively seek collaboration with chain partners.
Knowledge of criminal and/or residency regulations and of the social map regarding care and shelter is a plus.

- A completed HBO degree in Social Work, MWD, SPH
- Minimum 5 years of recent work experience as a social worker
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience with complex casework
- Demonstrable experience with specialized social work in the field of sex work
- Experience with (ex-)sex workers, victims of human trafficking, and/or people with psychological or addiction problems
