For a growing company, we are looking for a hands-on interim Financial Controller who manages financial processes and actively contributes to management's thinking. You will have the autonomy to elevate controlling to a higher level and report directly to the organization's CFO.
What you will do.
- You will take full ownership of financial controlling and act as the link between finance, management, and operations.
- You will coordinate monthly and quarterly closings in close collaboration with accounting.
- You will be responsible for financial reporting, analyze revenue, costs, and deviations, and translate figures into concrete insights.
- You will prepare for the audit and serve as the point of contact for the external auditor.
- You will support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analyses to aid strategic decisions.
- You will identify areas for improvement and actively focus on process optimization, efficiency, and documentation.
Profile
- You have approximately 10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably supplemented with previous interim assignments.
- You have a strong accounting foundation and are familiar with P&L, balance sheet management, and financial closings.
- You have good practical knowledge of Exact Online and Bright Analytics and know how to efficiently use both tools for financial processing, reporting, and analyses. Experience with both systems is required.
- You are strongly analytical, hands-on, and work in a structured manner.
- You are an independent and proactive professional who quickly gains insight into an organization and takes ownership.
- You communicate smoothly with various stakeholders and can clearly convey financial insights.
