You will work in a varied combined role, providing both intensive guidance and behavior-oriented support.

You will work with clients who need your proximity, structure, and professional attitude.
No day is the same, but every day is meaningful.
You will work at two locations on the premises of a care institution.
One residential group is for clients with a severe intellectual disability (EVB+) and intensive care needs, with a focus on peace, proximity, and structure.
The other residential group is a dynamic setting for clients with behavioral issues, group dynamics, and more complex interactions.
The combination makes your work varied: you switch between intensive individual guidance and a dynamic group setting.

What you do

Switch between different target groups and guidance questions.
Provide care to clients with an intellectual disability and complex care needs.
Continuously switch ad hoc between clients, situations, and methods of guidance.
Respond flexibly to what the client and the situation demand at that moment.
At the first location: intensive guidance, often 1-on-1, and support with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Focus on proximity, peace, and structure.
Create space for individual attention and activities such as sensory stimulation, walking, or a moment of rest.
At the second location: work with clients with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and complex behavioral issues.
Provide structure, set boundaries, and help clients build trust and develop further.
Support with personal care (ADL) and daily activities.
Respond adequately to complex behavior and escalations.
Create meaningful daily activities, both at home and outside.
Build a relationship of trust with clients.
Work closely with colleagues and rely on each other in emergencies.
Maintain regular contact with relatives and other care professionals.

You have a care-related MBO-4 or HBO diploma.
You have experience with or affinity for an intensive target group (EVB+ and behavioral issues).
You are resilient and can clearly set boundaries.
You are robust, patient, and stress-resistant.
You are flexibly deployable and can quickly switch between different situations.
You enjoy collaborating and contributing ideas within the team.

Salary in FWG 45 according to the CAO-Gehandicaptenzorg (Collective Labor Agreement for Disability Care).
8.33% year-end bonus and 8% holiday allowance.
Additional salary for evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
