An experienced ETL Specialist is sought for an organization with an extensive data environment to strengthen an existing data team.
- You will join a multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum team responsible for the end-to-end development and management of data solutions.
- The focus is primarily on unlocking and transforming data within an Enterprise Data Warehouse and further processing it into dimensional models and data marts.
What you do
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Ingest data into an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Develop and configure data pipelines.
- Populate Data Vault and Business Vault according to the Data Vault 2.0 standard.
- Transform data into dimensional models.
- Integrate data into data marts.
- Develop physical data models based on logical data models.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes using various tools.
- Write and execute tests.
- Perform code reviews.
- Analyze and resolve bugs.
- Contribute to releases and deployments.
- Contribute to backlog refinements and sprint planning.
- Support analyses and the development of technical solutions.
- Work closely with colleagues from various expertises, including functional analysts, developers, and testers.
What they ask
- Experienced ETL/Data Engineer comfortable in complex data warehouse environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT dataflows or data pipelines towards dimensional data models.
- At least 3 years of experience in ETL/ELT development within data warehousing and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools.
- Experience with dimensional modeling.
- Experience with 3NF.
- Experience in developing physical data models based on logical data models.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Good knowledge of Dutch.
- Good spoken knowledge of English.

- Apache HOP
- Dimensional modeling
- SQL
- Experience with all the above technologies is not essential; a strong ETL/data warehouse background and relevant experience with similar technologies are more important.
