A Solution Architect is sought for an international organization in the food industry, with approximately 250 employees. The company plays an important role in the chain of healthy food products and invests in sustainability, digitalization, and modern technology. The culture is down-to-earth and informal. Within the IT department, work is being done to further professionalize the Microsoft environment, with data, BI, and AI playing an increasingly important role. This is a new position within the IT department.
What you do
- Translate business issues into technical designs
- Design cloud architectures and system integrations
- Make architecture choices within Azure and Microsoft 365
- Contribute ideas on BI, AI, and modern data platforms
- Monitor security, scalability
- Advise stakeholders and guide technical implementations
You investigate the organization's needs and translate them into secure, scalable, and future-proof IT solutions. You primarily work with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, focusing on cloud architecture, system integrations, and developments around Microsoft Fabric. Together with the Enterprise Architect, you work on architecture choices. You regularly liaise with the BI department, developers, application managers, and other stakeholders.
The role primarily focuses on designing, elaborating, and monitoring technical solutions; daily management and development are largely carried out by other specialists.
What they ask
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) work and thinking level
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT architecture
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Experience with cloud solutions and system integrations
- Knowledge of cloud governance and IT security
- Easy communication and ability to make independent technical choices
Preferences.
- Experience with ArchiMate and/or TOGAF (ArchiMate is preferred)
- Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Fabric
