A specialized company in roofing and facade works is looking for a professional who can connect commercial opportunities with technical and financial accuracy. You will further expand the network with architects and other professional partners. At the same time, you will independently analyze and calculate project files resulting from these contacts. You will be involved from the initial contact to a well-founded offer and a clear handover to the team.
What you do
- Actively build relationships with architects, architectural firms, and other relevant partners in the construction and renovation sector
- Maintain existing contacts and seek new collaboration opportunities
- Follow up on requests and discuss the content and expectations of projects
- Analyze plans, quantity surveys, specifications, and other available project information
- Independently calculate files for roofing and facade works and prepare well-founded offers
- Request prices and additional information where necessary and coordinate technical questions with colleagues and involved parties
- Explain offers, follow them up, and discuss any adjustments
- Carefully maintain contacts, offers, and files, and fully transfer sold files to project management
What they ask
- At least five years of relevant experience in calculation, project preparation, or a commercial role within the construction sector
- Ability to independently interpret plans, quantity surveys, and specifications, and calculate files for roofing and facade works
- Insight into the technical and commercial aspects of construction and renovation projects
- Easily establish contacts and build lasting professional relationships. An existing network with architects or other construction partners is a plus
- Work accurately and independently, but also coordinate in a timely manner with colleagues and partners
- Communicate clearly in Dutch and be able to explain an offer clearly
- Organize your work well and consistently follow up on commercial opportunities and files
