Youth Worker flexible team

• Conduct substantive discussions with young people
• Maintain contact with external organizations and aid workers, such as guardians, schools, and general practitioners
• Ensure a safe and livable residential environment
• Serve as a visible point of contact for young people
• Work closely within a team and participate in meetings and intervision discussions to ensure quality
• Support various teams as part of the flexible team

What they ask Education.

• Relevant HBO or university degree (Social Work, MWD, SPH, CMV, Teacher Training, Pedagogy, Psychology, or another degree within Social Sciences)
• SKJ registered or have the possibility to obtain SKJ registration within two years
• A relevant MBO education combined with SKJ registration is also possible

Work experience.

• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a youth worker, youth outreach worker, social worker, or supervisor in youth care, youth assistance, mental health care, general care, and/or welfare work

Personality.

• Stand firm
• Be empathetic with a big heart for youth, without losing professional distance
• Be clear in setting boundaries

Flexibility.

• Be available for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are always waking shifts)

• You always work with at least one other colleague
• Possibility to transfer to a permanent team
