An experienced and independent claims handler is sought for material car damages.
- You will join an experienced and collegial team where you handle files independently while being able to count on the necessary support from your colleagues.
What you will do.
- Responsible for the complete follow-up of material damage files.
- Ensures that files are handled correctly, efficiently, and customer-focused.
- Independently handles material damage files, mainly for cars and trucks.
- Is the point of contact for brokers and guides them through the entire handling of a file.
- Assesses the damage and decides whether an internal or external expert should be appointed.
- Closely monitors files and ensures correct further processing.
- Also handles recourse files if necessary.
- Works closely with colleagues within the claims department and other departments.
- Contributes to efficient operations and good service for clients and brokers.
Profile
- Experienced and independent claims handler who works accurately and enjoys taking responsibility.
- Maintains an overview, even when following up on multiple files simultaneously.
- Finds it important to assist clients and brokers in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
What they ask
- A Master's degree in Law or a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Insurance.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in car claims handling.
- Good knowledge of traffic regulations.
- Fluent communication in Dutch and French.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferences.
- Interest in cars, trucks, or transport damage is a plus.
- Knowledge of English and/or German is a strong asset.
