Within a High & Intensive Care (HIC) unit, a healthcare organization guides people experiencing a severe and acute psychiatric crisis. The organization is looking for a clinical psychologist who not only works therapeutically with clients but also helps shape the further development of the therapeutic vision and operations.
What you will do. As a clinical psychologist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that guides people during a particularly vulnerable period in their lives. You combine direct client care with a substantive role within the team.
- You guide clients individually within their treatment trajectory
- You bring psychological expertise into diagnostics, treatment, and recovery planning
- You support clients and their loved ones during an acute psychiatric crisis
- You contribute to a recovery-oriented and therapeutic living environment
- You guide and support colleagues in further shaping the therapeutic vision of the department
- You help translate therapeutic principles into daily practice

- You identify bottlenecks and actively contribute to thinking about quality improvement
Profile
- You hold a master's degree in clinical psychology, including recognition and visa
- You have experience with or strong expertise in working with people with psychiatric vulnerability
- You have knowledge of neuropsychology, diagnostics, and treatment methodologies within mental healthcare
- Experience in acute psychiatric care is a significant advantage
- You pay attention to the lived experience of clients and their network and actively involve loved ones in care
- You work from a recovery-supporting vision with attention to client participation and empowerment
- You are able to develop a substantive vision and help translate it into policy and practice
- You support and coach colleagues based on your therapeutic expertise
- You work independently and collaboratively, and actively take responsibility within the team and operations
- You guard your professional boundaries and are open to intervision, supervision, and further training
- You combine authenticity with professionalism and critically reflect on your own actions
- You possess good administrative skills and work proficiently with MS Office
