Contribute to a safe working environment within a large public organization. You support management and colleagues at various locations in identifying risks and applying laws and regulations. You advise, signal, and act decisively to ensure safe and responsible workplaces and prevent environmental damage.
What you will do.
- Advise on occupational health, safety, and environmental (OHS&E) issues, both proactively and on request.
- Support the development of plans, procedures, and improvement actions.
- Conduct Risk Inventories and Evaluations (RI&E's), risk analyses, and assessments.
- Verify that locations comply with laws and regulations.
- Perform audits on compliance with legislation and the application of OHS&E policy.
- Investigate incidents and identify bottlenecks.
- Act as lead writer for the RI&E.
- Report on the outcomes of conducted investigations and audits.
- Propose solutions and preventive measures.
- Provide information to employees and management.

What they ask
- Completed MBO 4 education in occupational safety, health, or environmental studies, or a completed MBO 4 education supplemented with courses/training in intermediate safety or environmental studies.
- Experience in occupational safety, health, and environmental fields.
- Valid driving license B.
- Willingness to follow additional training/courses in OHS&E if necessary.
- Knowledge and ability to perform RI&E's and/or environmental inspections.
- Knowledge and ability to write clear reports and documents in Dutch.
- Knowledge and ability to advise on the approach to occupational safety, health, and environmental problems.
