You work at the heart of a municipal collaboration in the field of Social Affairs.
- The Activation and Care unit supports residents who have difficulty participating independently in society.
- The Debt Assistance team helps citizens who have not been able to find a structural solution for their debt problems.
- Debt problems are often accompanied by underlying (psychosocial) issues.
- You act as an intermediary between various chain partners and aid organizations.
- The team consists of fourteen employees, including administrative staff and consultants, led by a team coordinator.
What you do
- You are responsible for the implementation of the debt assistance trajectory and related activities.
- In the intake phase, you determine the request for help together with the citizen, in accordance with current insights in debt assistance.
- You work closely with various aid institutions given the complexity of the issues.
- In the implementation of the amicable process, you have a mediating role and are aware of the various interests of the parties involved.
- You are familiar with the legal procedures associated with the implementation of the amicable process and know how to apply them appropriately.
Profile
- A decisive and enthusiastic colleague.
- Completed relevant MBO or HBO education.
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience within a municipal organization and the field of Debt Assistance, from registration to aftercare.
- Experience as a debt counselor at a comparable organization.
- You can adapt to changing working conditions in a dynamic work environment.
- Independence and the drive to manage a caseload.
- Good teamwork and ability to perform under pressure.
- Customer focus, solution orientation, meticulousness, and collaboration are central.
