At an engineering firm, you will work as an Electrical & Controls Engineer | Robotics on challenging projects within robotics and industrial automation. You combine electrical engineering with automation and project follow-up, taking responsibility for the entire technical trajectory. From developing the concept and electrical engineering to testing and implementation: you ensure that all technical puzzle pieces come together.
You will work closely with clients, fellow engineers, drafters, suppliers, and other technical partners.
What you will do.
- You translate client needs into a technical and functional concept.
- You guide automation and control projects from engineering to realization.
- You prepare functional descriptions and technical documentation.
- Together with drafters, you design, check, and optimize electrical diagrams and layouts.
- You prepare bills of materials (BOM) and ensure that the correct components are available on time.
- You support purchasing with technical comparisons and coordinate with external suppliers.
- You guide software and system tests and establish test procedures.
- You monitor the technical quality, planning, costs, and budget of your projects.
- You are a technical point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- You support implementation and delivery and provide technical training to users where necessary.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- You preferably have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and can work proficiently with CAD software for electrical diagrams.
- You have practical experience with automation and control projects and find it interesting to follow technology from concept to realization.
- You are analytical and hands-on, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating with others to find the best technical solution.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch. Knowledge of English and/or French is a plus.
- You are willing to work internationally on-site occasionally and are prepared to travel approximately 10 to 30%.
