Within an organization that invests in digital services, you will play a key role in the further development of e-commerce. You will be the first dedicated e-commerce manager for the Dutch market and will have the freedom to build a team, shape the local strategy, and set an example for other countries within the group. Your contribution will impact customers, colleagues, and international e-commerce development.
What you will do.
- Responsible for the commercial growth and further development of the webshop in the Netherlands.
- Translates the international digital strategy into an approach that aligns with the Dutch market.
- Ensures customers receive an online experience that is as strong as the personal contact.
- Directs e-commerce growth, sets the course for campaigns, promotions, product priorities, and commercial activation.
- Drives revenue, conversion, customer behavior, and profitability.
- Ensures that e-commerce becomes a natural part of the commercial strategy.
- Optimizes the digital customer journey based on data, customer insights, and practical experience.
- Actively works on conversion improvements and user-friendliness.
- Shares improvement ideas with international colleagues and helps shape the future roadmap.
- Builds and shapes the local e-commerce team, guides colleagues, and brings expertise together.
- Creates an environment where people can grow and builds a sustainably successful team.
- Collaborates with international stakeholders and actively shares insights, experiences, and best practices.
Profile
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in e-commerce.
- Strong commercial drive with the ability to translate data into concrete results.
- Experience in managing people, projects, or commercial initiatives.
- Effortlessly switches between strategy and execution.
- Knowledge of conversion optimization, performance marketing, and digital customer journeys.
- Connecting personality who easily collaborates with different teams and disciplines.
- Feels at home in an international environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Builds trust, brings people together, and enjoys working collaboratively for success.
