For an international logistics organization, we are looking for a Manager Rolling Equipment.
What you do
- Coordinate daily maintenance priorities and ensure maximum availability of rolling equipment
- Act as a technical and operational point of contact for complex malfunctions, escalations, and improvement trajectories
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and technical maintenance teams in a 24/7 environment
- Optimize preventive and corrective maintenance processes to minimize unplanned downtime
- Monitor and improve KPIs related to availability, malfunctions, backlog, planning compliance, and maintenance performance
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Reliability Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to achieve structural improvements
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance according to applicable procedures, legislation, and technical standards
- Manage maintenance contracts and direct suppliers and contractors on quality, performance, and response times
- Monitor maintenance budgets, available resources, and critical spare parts, with an eye for reliability, risk
- Document ongoing activities, risks, and improvement initiatives and ensure structured knowledge transfer to the future permanent manager
What they ask
- Extensive experience in a senior maintenance management or interim role within an asset-intensive environment
- Strong leadership experience in managing and coaching maintenance supervisors and technical teams
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance management, including preventive maintenance, planning & scheduling, backlog management, and continuous improvement
- Experience with EAM/CMMS systems; knowledge of Maximo is a strong asset
- Experience with rolling equipment, heavy mobile equipment, or similar technical assets is a plus
- Sufficient knowledge of contract and supplier management and steering on KPIs and SLAs
- Experience in a 24/7 environment where safety, reliability, and availability are central
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on, communicative, and able to quickly create structure, priorities
- Fluent in Dutch and good professional knowledge of English
